SPC Severe Storms Archive

SPC and NSSL keep an archive of severe thunderstorm events that is updated daily. Surface & upper air maps, radar, satellite and soundings are available. Events from January 1, 2000 through yesterday.

Hurricane Katrina (2005)

A separate web site devoted to Hurricane Katrina summarizes the history of the storm and provides radar and satellite loops. An ongoing summary of impacts is also included as are sources of additional information and published articles forecasting such a disaster for New Orleans.
