IR Satellite of Katrina -
IR imagery every hour shows the intensification and track of Hurricane Katrina to east of Florida, into the Gulf and
making landfall along the Gulf Coast. The Hurricane track was influenced by a strong high pressure ridge along the
eastern U.S. and a series of low pressure systems in the north Central U.S.
