National Radar -
Half-hour radar data during the March 1, 2002 upslope storm in Colorado shows the extent and intensity of
snowfall. The precipitation detected in Texas and the Gulf coast states is rain, while the precipitation over the Central Plains and
into the Midwest is snow. (Note the slightly different appearance on the radar image of the various precipitation types.)
