National Radar
- The animation of Doppler radar during the period of the ice storm on 29 to 31 January 2002 shows
continuous, and sometimes heavy (red), precipitation in northern Oklahoma. Heavy accumulations of ice
caused power lines and trees to snap. Relatively warm temperatures prior to this event prevented the ground
from freezing and so roadways remained relatively clear in spite of the large amount of glaze accumulation.
