Cutoff Lows National Radar During a Cutoff Low:
A persistent cutoff low is identified in the national radar from late May 2001 as lines of thundershowers
develop and rotate around the central low pressure center each afternoon. The almost stationary cutoff low
pressure center migrated southward only about 200 miles over a two day period.
