Sea Level Pressure and Precipitation - A series of forecast maps of sea level pressure and precipitation (accumulation over the previous twelve hours) for 00Z 11 December 2000. Most of the forecasts out seven days prior to 11 December depict a low-pressure center to be present east of the Rocky Mountains. Each forecast changes the position of the forecast low-pressure center slightly. Slight changes in the position can mean the difference between clear skies and fair weather and stormy conditions that may be severe.
