| National Radar -
All Doppler radar imagery from around the United States is combined to provide a view of the precipitation patterns
associated with a strong spring cyclone. The color coding indicates the intensity of the precipitation with cooler colors (blue)
showing light precipitation and warmer colors (red, yellow) showing heavier precipitation. This radar
image does not differentiate types of precipitation. A map of temperature would need to be examined to determine
if the precipitation on the radar image is snow, rain, or freezing rain or sleet.
